Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Hotel Miramar is often praised for its great location, offering sea views and convenient access to both the town and the beach. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring balconies overlooking Bournemouth Bay, with views extending to the Isle of Wight and Purbecks, and contemporary bathrooms including 'Rituals' toiletries. While most find the food perfectly acceptable, a few guests have mentioned that the dining areas can feel cold during winter months, especially the large dining rooms. The hotel also offers on-site parking, a valuable amenity in Bournemouth, and is within easy reach of the lovely promenade leading to Hengistbury Head.

Peaceful Stay with a View

comfortable bed good-sized bathroom complimentary toiletries full-length mirror
The room had a comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom. I found complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, useful. The hotel provided tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The wardrobe had ample space for my belongings, including a full-length mirror that was very practical.
The Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak in the corner of my room.
Location
9/10
The hotel provides unrestricted sea views from many vantage points. It is slightly set back from the main road, offering a peaceful setting.. I noted easy access to Grove Road for convenient parking.
Dining
8/10
Breakfast included many options to choose from. Lunch was also excellent, and the main restaurant menu had a good selection. I saw that the dining rooms rely on small heaters during colder months.

Really good Stay with Amazing Service

great size decent bathroom usb points
The room was a great size. I found the bathroom decent, equipped with plenty of sockets and USB points. Storage was also plentiful. I had no issues with space. The bar stayed open late, and the staff were fantastic!!!
The window in my room was broken and as there was no air conditioning, this caused some discomfort.
Service
10/10
The staff displayed a cute attitude and were helpful at all times. They consistently greeted guests with a smile and a friendly hello. I really appreciated this.

the hotel was amazing. our room overlooked the sea through expansive windows. there were multiple ways to adjust the temperature. the extra wide bed ensured i slept very well. the 'rituals' soaps were a very good touch. the staff were happy and eager to assist in any way they could.
the shower took a while to get hot, also water pressure was low. i did not notice that the breakfast wasn't included.
